Duden Waterfalls:
The name derives from the Duden stream which consists of two parts: Upper and lower.
Upper Duden Waterfall:
It is located in the north of Antalya and 10 km away from Antalya city center. Offering a magnificent view, the waterfall is 22 meters high and has caves and waterfalls behind it. It is said that Alexander the Great gave water to his horses from this waterfall when he passed through the region. For this reason, Düden Waterfall is also referred to as İskender Waterfall in some sources. You can hear birds chirping among the greenery and listen to the relaxing sound of flowing water.
Lower Duden waterfall:
The waterfall, also called 'Karpuz kaldıran' is located on the road to Lara beach. It is 8 km from away Antalya city center and falls into the Mediterranean sea from 40 meters high cliffs. The waterfall is frequent destination for boat tours. Lower Düden waterfall is also the symbolic natural beauty of Antalya.
Kaleici (old town):
It is the oldest part of Antalya city. It contains many historical artifacts from different civilizations. The Ancient Hadrian's Gate, Clock Tower, Yivli Minaret, and the ancient port are the most famous of these. Additionally, there are approximately 3000 old authentic houses in Kaleiçi, which has narrow streets and is surrounded by walls. You can enjoy shopping in your free time for about an hour and a half here.
Antalya boat tour:
It takes about an hour, starting from Antalya old harbor and taking you to Karpuzkaldıran waterfall is known as 'lower Duden' falling from about 40 meters into the Mediterranian Sea. Tunektepe Cable Car (Antalya Teleferik):
It takes you up to the 605-meter high hill. The hill has magnificent Antalya city, new harbor, and Mediterranean sea views. You can enjoy drinking a couple of coffee or tea ext at the cafe on the top of the hill and take fantastic photos.
