Aspendos is located about 90 km from Alanya. Aspendos, one of the best preserved theaters in the world, is still in use and shows such as opera and ballet are performed with its magnificent acoustics.
Then we continue with Side.Side is a street of Manavgat and located about 60 km from Alanya. Once was an important Roman port, It is now a modern town full of ruins. Side meaning 'pomegranate' in the old Anatolian language dates back to 2nd A.D. According to some legends, Side is a land that Anthony gifted to Cleopatra as a symbol of his love.It has got a large well-protected ruin area. The Amphitheater, The temple of Apollo, the Necropolis (old cemetery), and the Agora (old marketplace ) are the highlights of the ruins. You’ll also have a shopping opportunity at Side's local shops before returning to your hotel.
Our last stop is the Manavgat River and the famous Manavgat waterfall which is one of the most photographed spots in Turkey. Manavgat waterfall has white foaming water rushing over the rocks. It is not high, but the water flow is strong. Next to the waterfall; a relaxing shady tea garden offers a pleasant relaxation area. Lunch will be served as an open buffet at a restaurant by the Manavgat River.
