It is one of the most famous and beautiful blue flag beaches in the world. It is a long and sandy beach and very popular, especially in the summer. It was named after the Egyptian queen Cleopatra. According to legend, the beach and its surroundings were a gift to the Queen from the Roman commander Marcus Antonius, and they both swam here.
Alanya Castle:
It is located on the rocky hill, approximately 250 meters above the sea, offering magnificent views of the city of Alanya, the Taurus mountains and beautiful beaches. It is one of the symbols of Alanya along with the Red Tower. Although the exact foundation date of Alanya Castle is unknown, the contributions of the Romans, Byzantines and Seljuks can be seen in the structure. The majority of the castle was built in the 13th century, following the conquest of the city by the Anatolian Seljuk ruler Alaeddin Keykubat I in 1220, as part of a reconstruction campaign that also included the Red Tower.
Damlatas Cave:
It is a famous limestone cave 3 km away from Alanya center. It is located on the west coast of Alanya castle and near Cleopatra beach. There are many interesting stalactites and stalagmites inside. It is good for asthma patients with its temperature of 20 degrees throughout the year and its air containing plenty of carbon monoxide and humidity.
Alanya watching terrace:
It is a viewing hill with a magnificent view overlooking the city, approximately 6 km away from Alanya city center. The terrace has an altitude of approximately 650 meters. The "I LOVE ALANYA" sign, which can be seen from almost everywhere in the city, is located on this hill.
